GBG International Expansion

GBG Members Joining Together

GBG embarked on a new journey this week, setting their sights on the shores of Ghana – a first for the up and coming California based Health and Wellness Company. Previously only available to those residing in the U.S. and Canada, this move symoblizes the increasing demand for convenient and effective nutritional products everywhere. And with the 2011 addition of their Chewable Vitamin tablets, the barriers between GBG and international customers are beginning to fall.

Most of us living in the U.S. don’t often hear much about the West African nation of Ghana. After all our foreign news is dominated by talk of the countries we’re engaged in conflict with, or those in conflict with each other. By huge contrast the democratically run Ghana tends to slip just under our radar. Both educated and developed, the 24 million residents boast a 65% literacy rate in adults as well as a steadily increasing oil industry and a sturdy seat in the gold industry as well. Their per capita output is two times as much as surrounding, poorer nations in the region.

The Ghanaian people speak English as their official language, although within their nation they recognize 79 different languages. Approximately 68.8% of their population identifies as being Christian and their Court System is patterned after that of Great Britain, which ruled Ghana from 1869 until they achieved their independence in 1957. In many ways their history is one the average American could consider quite similar to that of the US. Similarly their political system is a democracy with different contribuiting parties.

As GBG’s International expansion continues, hopefully more and more opportunities like the one just established with Ghana will arise. For many, its a rare chance to make a connection to like-minded individuals that would never just stroll down the streets of our own towns. But it isn’t hard to see that a slight difference in geography can’t stop a product as powerful as GBG Chewable Vitamins from reaching out and bringing people together.
